Meredith Robinson

Office Manager and Patient Resource

Meredith is both caring and extremely organized. She applies her talents and experience to keeping the office running smoothly and to keeping our patients feeling comfortable and well informed. She received her Bachelor of Science at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and her Masters in Business Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University. Meredith has over 25 years of hospital and plastic surgery experience and worked closely with Dr. Cohen before joining her practice in 2016. She truly enjoys helping patients explore non-surgical options including Medical Grade Skincare Products, Botox and “Fillers.”

Meredith also enjoys cheering on her two sons in their various sporting events, working with local PTAs, and serving on the Community Services Committee in her neighborhood. When she can get away, you’ll find her at the Outer Banks.

Julie Scott

Registered Nurse

Julie is an experienced and compassionate nurse who adds to the feeling of warmth and trust in Dr. Cohen’s practice. She graduated cum laude with her Bachelors of Science in nursing from Vanderbilt University and has had a successful nursing career both in Atlanta and Richmond. She comes to Dr. Cohen’s practice with 20 years of experience in the field of plastic surgery. Julie assists Dr. Cohen on procedures performed in office and is trained in several state-of-the-art laser resurfacing procedures offered at the clinic.

Julie lives in Richmond with her family and two Jack Russell dogs. She enjoys tennis, aerial yoga, decorating, painting, gardening, reading, and traveling. In 2016, she hiked the Grand Canyon!

Sue DeMaria

Registered Nurse

Sue comes to Dr. Cohen’s office with 25 years of experience as a nurse. Her background in medical oncology, the operating room, and labor and delivery enhances the care she provides to Dr. Cohen’s patients. Her warm personality together with this diverse experience makes her very relatable to our wide variety of patients.

Sue is an empty nester with one married son, two daughters, and two rescued dogs that she dotes on. While living in Raleigh, she owned a CrossFit Gym, spent a lot of time boating on Falls Lake and Smith Mountain Lake, and supported her kids in their athletics. In her off time, you’ll find Sue in her craft room working on paper crafting, rubber stamping, scrapbooking, cards, and DIY of most every kind. When she’s not being creative, you’ll find her outdoors hiking, boating, or just exploring nature.

Shannon Tyler

Patient Care Coordinator

With the addition of Shannon to our team, you can always count on seeing a smiling face when you enter the office. Shannon came to us with over 34 years of experience in customer service. Our Patients are her top priority from the moment you call the office to schedule your appointment to the time you check out. Shannon goes above and beyond to make sure your visit at Dr. Cohen’s is an extremely pleasant one.

Shannon was born & raised in Anchorage, Alaska, and moved to Virginia in 1992. She lives with her husband of 24 years and her miniature Schnauzer, Coach. Shannon and her husband love being empty-nesters of a daughter and a son. Going on day trips and trying new restaurants is what you will find Shannon doing on her days off.
