The Wedding Day is Getting Close – How can I Freshen My Look?
Bright Eyes and Relaxed Forehead
Adding Botox to frown lines between the eyebrow also sometime called “the elevens,” crow’s feet and forehead areas can smooth lines and give you a more serene and peaceful look. Botox may help give the eyes a more open appearance to help you look more awake and alert. I recommend treating with Botox at least four weeks in advance to allow time for the Botox to have maximum benefit and for any touch-ups that might be needed.
Stunning Eyelashes
We offer two simple high impact treatment options that can help your lashes grow darker, thicker, and longer! These drops are applied to the lash line and enhance the growth of your own natural lashes. You will start to see benefit in around three weeks, but it takes approximately 12 weeks to reveal maximum results.
Hydrated Youthful Lips
If you want a pop of freshness and to help your lips look hydrated and fuller, lip filler such as Juvederm Ultra or Juvederm Volbella can be a beautiful option. I recommend doing this treatment at least three weeks before the wedding to be sure that any bruising and swelling have resolved. This treatment can be tailored to add just a bit of volume and smoothness or to give a bigger impact.

Lifted Dewy Cheeks
To lift your cheeks and appear fresher and more rejuvenated, I recommend filler to the cheeks such as Juvederm Voluma. Voluma can help counteract visual effects of facial aging by adding structure to areas where our bones naturally lose volume over time. This is a high impact treatment for many people. It gives instant and long-lasting results that seem to brighten the whole face. I recommend doing this treatment at least three weeks before the wedding to be sure that any bruising and swelling have resolved.
Brighter, Fresher Look Around Nose and Mouth
The nasolabial fold and marionette line areas can sometimes form a dark “parentheses” around the mouth and nose area. They can form lines or make the area look shadowy. Treating these areas with a filler such as Juvederm Vollure or Juvederm Ultra or Ultra Plus will smooth and lighten the dark shadows, which can be lovely. I recommend doing this treatment at least three weeks before the wedding to be sure that any bruising and swelling have resolved.
Help for that One Feature that Bothers You
Many people have one feature that bothers them when they look at picture of themselves (or watch themselves on Zoom) and there are many areas we can address with filler with beautiful results. These include contouring the chin, treating the tear trough under the eyes, or correcting some asymmetry in the face, with filler that works wonderfully for these areas.
Get Gorgeous Glowing Skin
Medical Grade Skin Care
For glowing, fresh, and youthful skin we recommend a good sunscreen and a medical grade skin care program such as Obagi. Our aesthetic nurses and staff can guide you and recommend products that are specially formulated to reveal lovely, refreshing results. It is never too early or too late to start, but for best results we recommend starting your medical grade skin care at least three weeks before the big day.
Chemical Peel
To jump start your new fresh skin and to even skin tone, decrease hyperpigmentation and fine lines we recommend a chemical peel such as Vi Peel. The peeling process takes three to five days, so we recommend doing this at least two weeks prior to the wedding.
Lunchtime Peel
If you are close to the big day and have one week before the wedding, we recommend a Diamond Peel, also known as a Silk Peel. Diamond Peel is a microdermabrasion procedure that is done in the office. It is also known as a “lunchtime peel.” Diamond Peel can help your skin look more radiant. The down time is minimal, and the results are refreshing. You can usually return to your activities immediately after the peel.
Have More Time Before the Big Day?
There are some treatments that require a bit more advanced planning as they take more time to see results or have a little bit of downtime after the treatment. Stay tuned for our Wedding Blog Part II to learn more or give us a call.
